Just to be clear, you want reasons for a slow PC? I don't think I can come up with 10 but:

Too many windows open/programs running
Fragmented Hard Drive
Corrupt Registry
Malware (Spyware/trojans etc.)
Start up overload
Hardware issues (failing Hard Drive/failing RAM etc.)
