If people are going to keep coughing up for Imax 3D tickets for films that would be just fine 2D and on a normal screen then they are going to continue to charge those prices.

IMAX is HD quality though.
I don't want to watch a movie in less than HD quality :(
It was never $19 though, thats a recent increase.

for 40$ what can you buy in usa?

In the US you can buy a DVD player for $40.

Here the tickets are around $10 per person but if you buy coke and nachos, you get to $19 easily :)

And those xxx memberships?? What a ripoff!!

so they raise the prices, cause more people to find torrents, and then cover it with raising the prices again... its a vicious cycle

you can´t imagine how much I hate when ppl make noise with popcorn, soda,nachos and all this shit that people eat in on the movies. Why they need to make that much noise!
