Remember Hotline Client and Hotline Server?
Hotline was a Client-Server application that enabled incredibly simple access to your machine over the internet. I had it on my Mac about a decade ago and it was excellent. Now I am reduced to Dropbox, which is a far cry from Hotline.
Does anyone know of a similar app that would run on OS X? |
I was all over hotline for several years... Ran a server and admined several over the years.
|
I could really use something like that now.

We are working on this application now for our Mac hosting being launched next month.
:winkwink: |
Here are some modern replacements for your pleasure.

Barefootsies- there was no download link and the author's site is out of date because they dropped support for this years ago. I used to use KDX too. Interestingly there was a SIMILAR APP link, which lead to this: http://www.zankasoftware.com/wired/
I am going to explore it now. Thanks for the tip! |
We use to build crazy traffic from hotline surfers back in the day.
|
Oh man, those were the days. I used to run hotline way back then, and Carracho was awesome!
|
