If you ever go into comedy hire a drummer. That way people will know when they are supposed to laugh.

The picture was the punchline. Do you not understand the basics of comedy?
Let me help you out.
You have a feedline, or set up, and then a punch line. That's the formula.
So, I set it up with the subject of the post, and then the punchline was the picture.
Now, comedy is subjective, as we all know. Especially when there are different cultures. So you may not think it funny that the sun accidentally juxtaposed the twin towers image with that headline, but I did.
I would defend to the DEATH your right not to like my joke, but to suggest there isn't a punchline is just silly.
As to your gag about the drummer, drummer are notoriously bad at keeping time, so asking one when to laugh doesn't really work as a joke. You want to try swopping that out for a neon sign with LAUGH written on it, or a guy holding up a sign. That would work much better for you.
