Fox Signs Simpsons for 2 more years

Article

I don't know about you guys, but I saw the show last night and they've gotten really stupid. That show used to be fucking hilarious. Now its just dumb.

marcu5 01-17-2003 09:00 AM

well, now the show has no plots, its makes no sense, and its just not funny anymore.. King of the Hill is better :thumbsup

Brad Mitchell 01-17-2003 09:03 AM

Simpsons rules.

evildick 01-17-2003 09:19 AM

"Simpsons rules "

right :2 cents:

Sarah_Jayne 01-17-2003 10:16 AM

hands down the best comedy show on tv...a simpsons that is only half as funny as it used to be is still better than just about anything else.

I agree 100%

fang 01-17-2003 10:22 AM

"King of the hill" Rules :thumbsup

But the Simpsons are still cool

hottoddy 01-17-2003 10:41 AM

Simpson's are still the best thing on TV, I tell you what.

The episodes get funnier with each viewing. They always seem a bit flat when they originally air. It takes times to sink in.

gornyhuy 01-17-2003 10:44 AM

sweet merciful crap!

pr0 01-17-2003 11:02 AM

simpsons still own the tv waves...& will until the day they go off the air

Candyman69 01-17-2003 11:20 AM

family guy all the way

thesexattic 01-17-2003 11:23 AM

By far the most well written show in the history of television. The social commentary alone is enough for them to carry on for 10 more years.

Pure genius....Since the start of season 2!

If you don't like the simpsons you have either never watched it or your not bright enough to get the jokes...and to that I say:321GFY

PaulSweet 01-17-2003 11:33 AM

The Simpsons have definately altered TV programming with their impact.

JennyFromTheBlock 01-17-2003 12:59 PM

Simpsons rule. The writers pretty much ran out of new show ideas, its just Homer being a moron and Lisa portrayiing Einstein.

Simpsons should never end.:thumbsup

Hustlin Entertainment 01-17-2003 01:03 PM

Simpsons just own.

Turns out on the plane back from the Vegas show I'm sitting next to one of the producers of "The Simpsonssss" . She was very cool and it sounds like they have a ton of people working real hard to make it a good show. That being said, I prefer the King of The Hill. Simpsons seems like 5th grader humor and the animation always bothered me. King on the other hand is more of an adult toon and I especially like the way they sneak in moral messages here n there. A very cool show indeed!:thumbsup

DrGuile 01-17-2003 01:49 PM

Im a Futurama fan myself.

but still, the Simpsons made it all happen!

Seasons 3 - 10 we're the shit!

- There are 3 ways to do thing, the right way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!

- Inst that the wrong way?

- Yes! But Faster!!

HomerFromTheBlock 01-17-2003 01:54 PM

OK first of all King of the hill is the worst show ever. It is geared towards all the hicks in our country and apparently there are a lot of them because that damn show is still on. Simpsons on the other hand is clever and well thought out. Some episodes lately haven't been that great but it is still the best show on telelvision by far.

The show kicks ass, but it's going downhill.
Watch the earlier seasons then play the newest ones. The new ones don't compare.

Meloman 01-17-2003 02:57 PM

Simpsons ROCK :thumbsup I never really got into King of the Hill or Futuramo.

Homer rules!!!!!!!!

xroach 01-17-2003 03:01 PM

the only thing wrong with the simpsons is that king of the hill is right after it, otherwise it's the greatest show of all time. king of the hill blows chunks

sometimes there's a lame episode or two but they always seem to come back to the goodness

Originally, the Simpsons were hilarious because they made fun of everybody. I used to love watching that show. But nowadays they seem too lame. Homer has gotten stupid way past the point of being funny and the show's humor has gotten too infantile. South Park seems to have picked up their slack lately.

TurboTrucker 01-17-2003 11:32 PM

Anyone remember when they first came out on the Tracy Ullman show? Damn I'm getting old.

Easter Sunday, April 19, 1987.

I'll remember that day forever because I gave birth to a beautiful child and The Simpsons premiered on the Tracy Ullman Show.
