Best lens for POV ?
 

I am thinking about shooting POV BG photos and video.
I have a DSLR and would like to know what is the best lens for POV?

14mm nikon lots of ambient light.

I'd imagine shooting POV with an SLR would be a straight-up fucking bitch. Big-ass huge camera with a big-ass fucking lens, trying to hold it steady while looking straight down... while trying to maintain focus... It would look great in some regards, but I've heard a lot of porn surfers have a major disdain for shallow DOF. I would imagine in order to do POV right with an SLR, you'd have to have some sort of custom mount that would hold it perhaps above your head so you could focus on the task at hand, and not worry about holding the camera... or, perhaps having someone else hold the camera.

Helmet cam with wide angle lens :-)

I use the 24-120 f4 or 17-35 2.8 on a FX nikon camera.. . you will need to use somethig wider if you are using a DX camera. with video a wide angle attachment will do. in the past I have shot with a video cam in one hand and stills cam in the other.

I use a Nikonos underwater camera with a 24mm wide angle lens. Then you don't have to worry about all the cum splashes :thumbsup
