Producers: Do you own content you can license but have no shop?
 

After 7 years in the business we will start this year with selling not just our own content but also give other producers the opportunity to sell through us.

We are looking for all types of content, but HD productions with matching picture sets are preferred. We are not looking for DVDs, just separate scenes. There are enough DVD broker already. ;-)

It goes without saying that we only accept content that is 100% owned by the producer and comes with 100% perfect documentation. In the last 7 years our documentation has been checked by various lawyers by almost all big companies and always passed - and this is how we are going to keep it.

We offer 50% revshare on all sales and every producer gets his own login to our backend to check his sales and payouts.

In very limited cases we might also buy resell rights.

interesting content for sure. If you want to try out some titles on a revshare basis let me know, there's no risk involved. Buying titles would be only interesting for us if they are REALLY cheap.

i have seen in the past resell licenses offered for 50 USD per DVD - this is what i would consider cheap. $500-$1000 would probably a more appropriate price, but hardly any broker will buy for that price - not in these times.

I work with 2 brokers for my content myself and 50% revshare is common practice.

How many titles do you have? I may have a broker deal for you. Have a couple large order deals that I need more titles on.

to be honest: only if someone wants to sell really cheap cause the rent is due or something like that ;)

but we have invested already enough in the 2100+ scenes we shot for us, buying massive amounts of licenses would harm our cashflow and would always carry the risk that the same content gets also sold by another broker undercutting our prices.

Not if you buy/license it exclusive...But that doesn't go hand in hand with the first part of your post. :)
