Your favorite sushi restaurant...
I'm looking for the best sushi restaurants in the country. Looking to do a lil project with them. Any recommendations, reviews, locations or anything at all? If they have a particular roll that is superior to all others or why you like it most. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Fortunately I don't have one...

Start and end your search for the best sushi anywhere, right here in Hermosa Beach, CA. Gu Gu Sushi and Roll. I have introduced Gu Gu to people from all over the world, people that told me they did not really like sushi. All came away with the same, "that was amazing" comments.

I lived in Japan for a year and a half. I love sushi and I've had the chance to enjoy great sushi all over the country (and world).
My top pick in the United States is Shari in downtown Orlando. http://sharisushilounge.com/ |

Best sushi I have ever had. First tried it 10 years ago and its the sushi that all other sushi I try is compared to. Some of my favorites include; Spicy Tuna Tartare Seared Yellow Tail with Jalapeno Newport Roll I love it enough to invite baddog to try it. ;-) |

Sasabune on Wilshire in West LA has the best sushi I have ever had. "Omakase" is standard at the bar but you could order what you want if you sit at a table. It's traditional sushi only so they aren't big on rolls. The only one they have is a blue crab hand roll, and it's awesome.
