You just gave me an idea for a new Chris Mallick movie...
Some guy owns a ton of programs and uses something like STATMAN3 but never upgrades to STATMAN4 because his guys have learned how to shave sales AND traffic with it, screwing everyone who sent him sales / traffic. Then he'd fuck all the webmasters who's sales did get counted, not pay them, and sell the company to another huge scamming company who wouldn't pay off his debts, but was just mining for credit cards so they could spam and bang the living hell out of them for mainstream scams. I guess they would also have to own a billing company and a lot of other programs, both mainstream and adult, just scamming the life out of everything they touch. Like Ebola online. Then, a side story would have to be about a programmer who build this STATMAN system leaves but keeps a back door. Then he gets hired by a monster of a scamming company who hires him to be a front man and get data to know who does the most sales so they know who to buy and who to do business with. He'd have access to the most prized data in the industry because everyone who is anyone uses STATMAN, and he has access to it all. They would use that data to make huge power moves and literally take over the industry. To add a twist, maybe the guy even worked at a billing company that went bust and screwed people out of millions of dollars. I'm sure there are some other kick ass side stories that Chris could write, along with some very interesting characters he could develop, but it could be packed with lies, deceit, theft, power and lots of money. Would be much better than Middle Men. Anyone else want to add to the story? I bet with some twists and turns we could collectively turn it into something pretty cool. Maybe present it to Chris Mallick to make. Always wanted to write a script. I have a good imagination. |

if you want to shave nats just put hard links in your tour pages with your default house account code instead of the affiliate code. that would work out well enough.
|
Excellent... I hear the script pays for itself in little to no time
|
lol, so true, nats shaving script...
that's why i see 1:4000, fuckers..!!! |
The script costs $5k I heard.
But I heard it auto-posts credits based on the ratio/shave you want to achieve. |
As it has always been, if anyone knows of someone causing NATS to show improper stats, make us aware of it and we will take action against them. If they are truly manipulating the stats, they will be shut off.
If you're a fake nick / troll and you just enjoy posting your nonsense, carry on. |

i thought it was funny... I can see how you would not... |

Can you give us examples of what you've found? Or the last program that you shut off for shaving? How were they doing it exactly? |

Any platform, CCBill included, has the opportunity for a program owner to screw you over if they put enough effort into it. Placing blind faith in anything is not a good idea. NATS however, unlike some other platforms, has never had any feature designed to screw over an affiliate. It also has many things built into it to watch for this type of activity & protect against it (no, I can not provide you with specifics, that would defeat the purpose). It also has more protection against these type of activities than any platform out there, IMO. Also, as mentioned, if someone has reason to believe someone is doing something they shouldn't be, all they need to do is bring it to our attention and we will investigate it aggressively and take action. |

On another note. When a program closes and the program owners stop paying out to affiliates. Would you allow that same person to use another NATS License to open another program? |
I think like TMM John said. If there is a will there is a way. It doesn't matter if it is NATS, CCBill or a custom backend.

it was joke jesus, why people must jump with generic replies right away...

I've seen first hand a NATS program owner add (credit) sales to an affiliate.
Wonder if it's as easy to remove them. |

Seems worse than shaving, as you aren't getting SHIT. |

Funny how NATS is really worried about a shaving script or states if anyone is shaving their license will be killed. But, fuck all if the program stops paying affiliates license is still good. NATS + Shaving Affiliates = No License NATS + Program Does Pay Affiliates = License |

He didn't take the high road on Porngraph... and his X partner who know works for the people fucking the industry over more than any else. |

do (XX% of the time) { if (request has nats code in url) { remove it } It's not rocket science. Any programmer with knowledge of C can probably do it in under an hour. Apache is open source. There is no need to even touch NATS to shave. Hell you can probably even do it in an nginx config without even writing an modules. There is nothing that can be done about it. It has nothing to do with NATS as the request has already been changed before it even gets to them. If you can't trust a program maybe you shouldn't do business with them. The CCBill model is much more secure since the affiliates send it to CCBill and then they send it to the program. P.S., no I will not write a script to do this for you so don't even bother asking. |
I was here. :)
