I am old.. my baby turned 13 today!!!
 

My last of 4 kids turned 13 today and boy do I ever feel old having said that out loud. lol

I am so uber proud of all of my kids, but this one has more fire in her than anyone I have ever known. She is home schooled and she has a job and works hard at it. She is a designer for a site she's been a member of since she was probably 9 - 10 years old.... she doesn't get paid in cash, but rather credits, which aren't free...... but the bottom line, she has a job and knows what it means to work for what she wants. She wanted to be a member and she paid for the membership with her allowance and she maintains that and has for more than a year on her work for that membership.

I know she won't read this and you probably most likely don't care.... but I can't be more proud of her and I wanted to share with MY friends.

Somewhere, I did something right.... :thumbsup

I have a 22 year old daughter that has already served in the Navy and is now going to college to become a doctor and I still don't feel old

Vendzilla.. I don't most days and I certainly don't act the part... but her being 13 today, makes me well aware I am not 18 anymore.

BUT, the more I think about it, the more I am glad I am not in this day. These kids have it way tougher than we ever had it. I have girls ages 26 and 13 and boys ages 21 and 17.... so mine are all over the place too. And I try my best to "keep up with" what they are all into.... and am always mindful of how tough it is on them...... and yes, a little thankful I've "been there and done that". lol

after having one, I have no idea how people manage with more than that, especially 3+.

I have a one year old and barely time for anything else! I think people with more than 2 kids might be legally insane lol (I would be). Congrats really.

oh god, who says I am not insane? I lost what was left of my mind many years ago. lol BUT, they are fun at that age, enjoy them while they are babies, when they get older, sometimes their problems get bigger with them..... so enjoy it while you have it. :)

Thanks folks... she's an amazing kid and she definitely knows the value of a dollar, that's a must for all of my kids. ;)

My little girl just turned 14 a week ago, and my youngest son is 15 now, they are great kids and I'm so proud of em and love em to death, I'm a single dad and couldn't live with out em :)

I know what you mean, mine are why I wake up and breathe every single day... I can't even begin to think of how I'd ever get by without them or how I ever did before them.
