Software Recommendation Request - Video Crop & Encode

i don't need a full blown video editing software - just want to crop and trim segments from a video and then encode to different video formats - including SWF and FLV, animated GIF would be good too

anything to recommend?

try using the vegas or indows movie maker for that

True dat, if you're looking for a low end solution.

I prefer Sorenson for those tasks of multiple formats. When they can't be done server side.
