IP TV solutions ?

I'm wondering what good solutions is out there now, I know of google tv but not really what you can watch through it, anyone already using google tv ?

I'm subscribing to netflix already but looking for more options, anyone got any suggestions ?

What's important is also the playback options, I don't really want 20 different devices for 20 different things

I'm thinking a PC with an intel atom processor, hdmi out, and nvidia ion running linux would be best. I would liek to set that up myself, but haven't had the time yet.

I was thinking about that but I'd rather want a premade solution that I know will just work when I plug it in

My mate got a pasasonic hd player. its got built in wifi. it streams certain sites such as youtube to his tv.

I suspect that is the way things are moving.

So check out panasonic blu ray players as they may have a lot of this built in. It would save you buying different stuff.

I suspect such as xbox soon (if it has not already) have this built into them too.

I have internet TV (built in) on my Samsung 55" LED but have not fooled around with it much, you get youtube videos and yahoo, and options to download a ton of website apps.

I am looking to figure out how to get more Japanese content for my wife to watch, currently on Cablevision they only have 1 premium channel, Japan TV.
