i was actually surprised about this. i find it to be minimal work, i can load it up and keep it at 190c with no fan, then self draw whenever. i kinda liked that part.

Vaporizer? I've been using the same metal pipe for over a decade and it's self draw too, LMAO

The high from a vaporizer is differant, too - more intense and more "heady". You feel stoned but not STONED in the traditional way. Takes some getting used to. I know some people who only use vapes but they're freaky hippie fucks so....:D

yeah, they aren't fun since you have to wait on them to warm up. a nice glass piece that uses water is all you need.

A decent one will cost around 500 bucks (classic volcano) so if you spent 200 bucks maybe why you not getting a good vibe off it as you get what you pay for :2 cents:

i think the unit worked well, it heated up super fast, stayed heated, didn't burn the herb, created good clouds, etc.

i was expecting to be BLOWN AWAY. i wasn't. and it uses a lot too.

vapor brothers ftw... it's the volcanos that are overrated imo.

once you learn how to properly vape, you won't want anything else, but it takes time...

and yes sometimes you will end up smoking, but its more work to clean a stinky bong than vaporizer maintenance imo. so many stoners just have nasty stinky bongs they don't care. lol

ok get a chop stick from a chinese place, and break up the herb really good. Don't put too much, just a little covering the bottom. Once it heats up, stir it up, hit, repeat. When you finally cook it up enough but don't ignite it, and the herb is good you will feel a body high ulike smoking.

first times you'll dump the herbs out before they really start to cook, and that is where it lacks. Don't overfill it or the air won't go through the screen... unless you have one of those little drawer kind which I don't know about. It's all in how you grind, pack, and hand movement.

whips are the best... you should use way way less herb if you're doing it right. I bet the stuff you dumped is still smokeable too.

the vape cleans super easy, basically just tap out the leftovers, no resin = awesome.

i have never in my life understood why some peeps don't clean out their fucking bongs! not even fresh water, they'll just add a bit if they are low- ugh.

do you have one with a whip? you do have to buy new tubing and screens get messed up... have gone through 4 vaporizers and dozens of whips in the last 5 years. lol lllloooovvveee my vapor brothers, wouldn't sell it for three times what I paid. lol

i use a really good shredder, i heat the vape to 230c for about 5 min with the herbs packed in and ready, then i reduce temp to 190c, put the whip on and riiiiiiiiiip pretty solid. the vapor looks like big time smoke. stir the herbs, riiiiiiiiiip. repeat until there is no more visible vapor.

i agree, i definitely feel it but it seems like i am using a lot and it's certainly not, Zomg i rippeddddddddd any more than other methods.

i also tried the balloon, put the fan on medium and filled up the balloon with vapor. that didn't seem to produce much whatsoever......

A vaped high is a lot different, but in a good way I find. It just feels cleaner. I don't know if I'd want to vaporize 100% of the time, but for general day to day toking by yourself it's a good alternative with a nice floaty head high.

I finally broke down and bought one last year. I loved it but it requires too much prep. Example: if the herb is too dry it will start to burn at even the lowest temperatures. Have to have good moisture content and have to play with the wand to get that sweet spot. The upside is when you do it right.. Wow.. Does it ever work. A single gram of herb lasts all day and you're totally medicated vs smoking 3-4 grams of herb lol

If that's the case then you're still letting the herb get too hot. Keep it under 200. The herb should only turn a slight tan color when done with it. The thing knocks me down hard. Very hard time getting up after a session

see, this is what i was expecting. and i have fresh herbs from the dispensary.

it's definitely brown after vaping, not tan, so too hot eh. ok, i'll try it keeping it at 190c the whole time.

when i take a tissue and put it between a joint and my lips and take a puff theres like a big yellow stain even if i take the tiniest puff but if i do the same with the hose on this thing even if i take a huge pull theres nothing on the tissue and im happy to not breathing that stuff in!

under 200 means under 200 celcius i think i usually vape at around 365-375 Fahrenheit but if you vape a bit higher like around 405-410 you get a different high thats more of a body high it just releases a few more carcinogens than is released at the lower temps but still not as many as combustion and burning it

ahhh i recall a lot of smoke that go along with vaporizers

if you want to take a good hard pull like an especially hard one then instead of putting the weed in the neck part put it in the part of the tube that connects to that like that little elbow and pack it against that screen and put it back on the neck, you have to let the thing get warm and then take a nice slow hit youll be coughing tarless goodness

1. grind up some choice fresh herbs
2. put a nice pile of that in the part that holds that shit
3. put that part on the vape
4. turn on vape and warm up to 230c for ~5 minutes
5. reduce heat to 190c
6. put whip on
7. inhale

Yep, I'll take my trusty ol' Doris bong any day. No volcanos, no vaporizers, no 3 ft. glass on glass water bong, etc. Save the money and buy weed with it. :)

I prefer little hand held vapor brothers standard with dial heat control, nothing fancy but straight to the point. Sooooo good.

it basically ends up in that neck part on the elbow side, i've tried various levels of inhale and find that a good solid inhale creates the most noticeable vapor cloud and that level pulls the buds up into that area.

which is what i want right? to see the vapor?
