One of the best domain deals I've seen in a long time, too bad all of my domains are with NC already.
|
I just spoke with namecheap support, and this coupon is good to transfer UNLIMITED domains to namecheap :thumbsup
|
Any issues with adult domains, do they have good support for bulk editing of 100s of DNS, whois records at the same time? Thanks.

You can do bulk editing, they have a pretty decent control panel. $9.98 is the normal renewal price. BUT, if you have over 50 domains in your account you can ask their live support to give you the GOLDDEAL coupon. Then GOLDDEAL will work for $8.88 renewals and registrations. |
Thanks for the info, I see their renewal pricing, that GOLDDEAL coupon helps, although $8.88 still a little bit more than the $7.87 pricing that GoDaddy charges for 101 domains or more. I guess I could always do as suggested by u-Bob and transfer them back. Are they considered by most to be better or worse than GoDaddy?

I think they include privacy for the first year only.

So the transfer includes one year renewal? |

Unfortunately, if you want to transfer more than 10 domains at this price you are out of luck as they put a limit of 10 per account. |
NameCheap is good overall, but beware they are predominantly an eNom reseller. And hence eNom's policies, including the eNom / LegitScript partnership, applies to most NameCheap registered / managed domains too.
Is Namecheap doing something wrong here with LegitScript.com ? http://www.namepros.com/legal-issues...gitscript.html Beware: eNom and NameCheap Suspend domains based on bogus claims by a fake company (referring again to LegitScript.com) http://www.namepros.com/warnings-and...ins-based.html A backgrounder on LegitScript.com from a GFY perspective: http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=995152 With all that said, NameCheap is a good choice for many here, but beware when you're using NameCheap, you are most often actually an eNom customer - for some here that may be a business risk they'd rather not take - there are many other good registrar choices that too offer excellent transfer-in / renewal deals. LOL at coupon name.
Namecheap has some problems at the moment, site lagged and wasn't accessible few times when I tried to log in. I could imagine what would be next 2 days. It seems someone was pissed off at that coupon name "BYE BYE GoDaddy", and probably DDOSed them. It seems they cannot take cards at the moment, but funds and paypal would work ok. Naming coupon that way which clearly can pissed off competitor was not wise decision. |
