Verizon halts pre-order of iPhone 4
 

Apparently, because they sold too many. In just 2 hours iPhone 4 sales broke Verizon's daily sales record for a phone. Ordering will resume on 3am Wednesday.

Can't believe people are stupid enough to pay $700 for a phone. $199 I can understand but damn, morons. Then they can watch the Iphone 5 come out..

Verizon already has a ton of great Droid phones. Fuck that iPhone doorstop.

I guess its good to have if you want to be the cool person with the iPhone.

As an android user i can only imagine that people buying this on Verizon are not going from android to iPhone but are upgrading from older devices so more smartphones in peoples hands must be a good thing even if it is a rotten apple! :upsidedow

My father in law is one of those people. He has an old flip phone, and is waiting for the iPhone. Why? Because my sister-in-law Apple fanboy convinced him to get one by telling him "it's better than a Droid".

Of course, like most Appleheads, she says this without ever touching an Android phone ever. She just knows. That's what I hate about the Apple cult.

I feel for a certain age group the iPhone is the best choice as its sooooooo simple which kind of funny as it was the first real SMARTphone!
