With all the stupid shit that gets posted here at GFY, you guys are pissing and moaning about domain sales threads. Bash all you want. While you're crabbing about it, other people are buying the domains. Just because you can't see potential in something doesn't mean someone else can't. You're just keeping the market price low for the buyers with vision.

Go ahead an keep hating, but two years from now a lot of these domains you're shooting down at $200-$300 are going to look good at twice that price. Only thing is, the smart people are buying them now at this year's prices. It's like the Monopoly post above said, it's all about real estate and, believe it or not, decent internet real estate is finite.

I've got a few, myself. Typeins? Very few. Traffic? Some. Brandable, catchy as hell and certain to become more valuable as the neighborhood gets more crowded? Yep. 8106140

I think there is still definitely a market. I am not sure when is best to sell. I have a pretty nice domain collection. No sex.com's but ones that are better than 95% of the ones posted on these forums.

Right now is too much of a buyers market and its why I am probably not going to sell.

The way I figure, the economy will get better eventually. .Com isnt going anywhere as the naming system on the internet at least not for pretty long. Pretty much every other domain extension is worthless.

I doubt it.

The net changes so much. There will always be something bigger, better or a substitute.
