Fact: Most Super Bowl halftime acts play for FREE

If you go by the negative reactions on the blogosphere/twittersphere during the Super Bowl, the Black Eyed Peas shouldn't be paid for their underwhelming performance.

The fact of the matter is: most Superbowl halftime acts play for free in return for the HUGE exposure (no Janet Jackson pun intended).

But think about the Super Bowl. In 2010 a record 106.5 million people watched the New Orleans Saints defeat the Indianapolis Colts, and this year?s audience is expected to top that ? making it the most-watched show in American broadcast history. Even if 6.5 million people get up to go to the bathroom at halftime, there will still be 100 million pairs of eyes on The Black Eyed Peas.

Just like all the people running around on the half time show didn't get paid either.
I doubt the girls that run around the mansion with painted bodies get paid during parties.

I do agree with their performance, bad mic problems, sounded bad

I don't know if all those people watching is good exposure when you sound THAT bad !!

The Black Eyed peas should pay me to watch that fucking garbage. I had to watch it because there were 5 fags at the party who wanted to see it.

most goes to the National Football League and Fox - Fox probably broke even at best, but it gave their own programs incredible exposure that's impossible to get anywhere else but on the Super Bowl.
