YanksCash is looking for acquisitions in 2011, what is the earnings multiplier lately, Anybody?. Bottom line or EBITDA? Adult online seems to go all over the place

I've seen many going for 1 year after expenses, although I try and get em for 6 months :thumbsup

What kind of businesses are you interested in acquiring? I have people approaching me all the time looking to sell affiliate programs, free sites and domains.

Mark - essentially sites that have synergies specifically with yanks.com (traffic or content)

It's odd the disconnect between mainstream and adult in this space. Huffingtonpost.com gets 10x revenue and an adult site 1x profit.

So a mainstream site with, let's say a 25% profit margin grossing a million and making $250k can sell for $10 million and the same numbers in adult will get you $250k to, maybe with a good brand $500k?

As a buyer right now the pricing is GREAT, however the sites willing to sell usually aren't worth buying if that is the way the market is set up.

I understand the risk factor involved in adult, but $10million to $500k is a pretty steep discount. I wonder how this will evolve going forward.
