Alleged Lack of Re-bills Concerning Me

Ok, I have a couple of pay sites that I haven't updated in over a year, yet I still continue to get a significant number of sign-ups and re-bills. (And these sites aren't anything special, just your average exclusive solo girls stuff.)

Now I am comparing that to some of the bigger programs that I am an affiliate of...it seems the majority of sign-ups I send them never re-bill. And I am talking about bigger sites that update on a daily/weekly basis with top of the line exclusive content. WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! Sounds fishy to me. All these programs are using NATS. I don't want to accuse anyone of anything, but it just seems fishy to me that my sites that don't even update gets many re-bills, but the biggest and most updated programs don't get re-bills.:mad:

We send to Score and Kink and they re-bill (not as good as years gone past but they do re-bill)

You could try some new sponsors, and maybe contact a rep or the owner and tell them you are looking for true revshare.

Are you looking at where your personal sites' rebills are coming from? I'd look at that first. If the rebills you're getting on your personal sites are from 1+ year customers who signed up when the sites were updating then you probably just have a bunch of people who are too lazy to cancel. If you're comparing relatively new signups to your site and they are rebilling at a rate materially higher than signups to your sponsors' sites over a similar period, that certainly doesn't confirm there is an issue but it would give me more reason to continue investigating.

stick with programs that use CCBill.

Good point.

I'm getting over $100 a sign up from a couple of revshare sponsors because of higher
number of sales a year ago then now. The rebills are still coming but my new sales
are slow so this pushes my sales to rebill ratio up.

But if I just looked at this year alone then I could actually only be getting $30 a sign up.

It makes a big difference with who you are sending the traffic to. Try to think like a surfer and look at your numbers as well. Do they update? Do they have a pre-checked cross sale which rebills at $39.95? That is one way to make a surfer paranoid and cancel in order to make sure they don't get hit by hit...despite what they people living by them will tell you. Your average surfer doesn't know what you know. And the chances are high that they are already uneasy about the transaction based on other negative comments.

The numbers don't lie. There are all sorts of things a sponsor could be doing and it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with NATS. Some are just weasels themselves. Drop them if they are performing badly and move on.

Thanks thats a good point I had not thought about. On my own sites, I charge $19.95/month. So maybe my low starting price makes people forget to cancel...whereas some other sites I send traffic are charging $29+/month so that might make people more aware to cancel right away.
