Some of you may remember that I posted a request for information about Epassporte and Chris Mallick a few months ago on this site.

I hope you like the piece - it's out now. The headline is Bonfire Of The Vanities. It's not online just yet, but I suspect it will go up once the print magazine is off the shelves. Do tell me what you think.

I want to thank everyone who helped me. And if there's ever anything else that's going on that I might be able to write a story about, please stay in touch. Details isn't the only magazine I write for.

THe biggest update would probably be the attorney representing some of the ppl trying to get money out of epass was arrested.

Who was paid by him is more like it. Don't know anyone getting money from epassporte, only what sknaab saved from scamming and while ach was automated.

I kind of want to do a follow up to this story. Something about it feels incomplete...

Those wires and ACH payments that a lot of people were waiting on never came. I had two sizable ACH payments vanish.

The only lawyer on that small island who would agree to go after Mallick was just arrested. There are conspiracy theories about that since Mallick had very clear business ties to the most powerful man on the island. There are a few threads on here about that. i know i havent read the article yet but i imagine the reason you feel the storry is somewhat incomplete is you haven't been able to contact j christpher mallick in person, on the phone or in email to get his side of the story....im assuming hes MIA and nobody has any idea of his whearabouts?:helpme

or simply just write about the porn crash of 2010. the industry lost at least half its webmasters last year including many veterans. production was down, sales were down, sponsors stopped paying. in that economic environment all kinds of shit happens.

It seems that the fee they charge for the wire transfer is high. Someone could be owed less than fee for wire.

Yes, same here. I wanted to email you but I was in continual "discussions".

They basically turned out as I thought they would. Broken promises and missed deadlines.

Basically the behavior of a con-artist buying time for himself.

I have the conversations to prove it.

eBay has them up for sale already if you can not find a copy at a local store.

It might already be in motion. A journalist contacted me for info on him and the company. In truth I told him I knew very little factual information. Which was the problem.

One of them would have been me. With so much bullshit and speculation flying around at the time (no change there yet) my first thought was that it was just someone too lazy to do their own research for one of the many iwasrippedoffbychrismallick.com sites that popped up.

This has nothing to do with the "truth", it's just part of the "game".

I am sure many of the big players are paid like they have always been each time a processing company crashes and burns. Those who could afford to sue get paid. Any of the bigger BROgrams get paid. It's only the smaller players who typically lose their money.

The best part is, he will be back in a few years somewhere else and people will line right back up for whatever the new venture is. That is how it has always has worked in adult. The same companies, or individuals who ripped you off last time are back under some new company name.

Epassporte hasn't paid out one single cent.

The SKNA National Bank has paid out the money that was on their virtual visa cards, but Epassporte has not paid out the money they are holding.
