On sale now - Details Magazine Feature about Christopher Mallick
Some of you may remember that I posted a request for information about Epassporte and Chris Mallick a few months ago on this site.
I hope you like the piece - it's out now. The headline is Bonfire Of The Vanities. It's not online just yet, but I suspect it will go up once the print magazine is off the shelves. Do tell me what you think. I want to thank everyone who helped me. And if there's ever anything else that's going on that I might be able to write a story about, please stay in touch. Details isn't the only magazine I write for. Oh, and I want to ask, just out of interest: is there anyone who hasn't been paid by Epassporte yet? Mail me! Sanjiv sanjivb dot com |
Way to go! Will check it out...
|
fitting title, will have to check it out.
|
plenty still were never paid.
Bonfire of the Vanities After earning a fortune processing online-porn payments, Chris Mallick spent $32 million to make Middle Men, a movie about his fabulous rise. It bombed—but that was just the beginning of his problems. Inside the crash of Hollywood's most narcissistic film project. |

I'll make a point to pick a copy up.

THe biggest update would probably be the attorney representing some of the ppl trying to get money out of epass was arrested.
|
Who was paid by him is more like it. Don't know anyone getting money from epassporte, only what sknaab saved from scamming and while ach was automated.

Were you able to interview Mallick himself? A suggestion for an article: An expose on Mansef / Manwin (Nathan Thylmann / Fabian) or Sam Jain? Shadiness, international intrigue, money laundering, seized money, FBI, Interpol, lawsuits, and all kinds of other fertile territory to explore... :2 cents: ADG |
Congrats..how about sending me a free autographed issue issue for all the info i posted ?

I kind of want to do a follow up to this story. Something about it feels incomplete... |

The only lawyer on that small island who would agree to go after Mallick was just arrested. There are conspiracy theories about that since Mallick had very clear business ties to the most powerful man on the island. There are a few threads on here about that. Here is just one: https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1010584 This is turning into a never ending soap opera. Thank you for putting this story in the spotlight. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. |

People are curious why the only lawyer willing to help was suddenly arrested. Coincidence or not? |

nice article Sanjiv
Allow me to give a nice quote from it An ePassporte employee communicated with account holders from an Oxymoron Entertainment e-mail address, which later fueled suspicions of a financial link between the two companies. "No, no, I don't cross-pollinate businesses," Mallick says. "It's not my money. You can't steal what you can't touch." At a later date, Mallick concedes that, in fact, he could access the funds, though he denies ever having done so. |

It seems that the fee they charge for the wire transfer is high. Someone could be owed less than fee for wire.

They basically turned out as I thought they would. Broken promises and missed deadlines. Basically the behavior of a con-artist buying time for himself. I have the conversations to prove it. |

This has nothing to do with the "truth", it's just part of the "game".

The best part is, he will be back in a few years somewhere else and people will line right back up for whatever the new venture is. That is how it has always has worked in adult. The same companies, or individuals who ripped you off last time are back under some new company name. :2 cents: |
someone rapidshare this too much snow out.

The SKNA National Bank has paid out the money that was on their virtual visa cards, but Epassporte has not paid out the money they are holding. |
