Ok, so what month is your BEST for sales and what is your WORST? (on average/guestimation)
Ok after moaning about february sales, I decided to look into things a little more. and here is what I found.
Worst Months 2008: FEB 2009: FEB 2010: FEB 2011: FEB (so far obviously) Best Months 2008: NOV 2009: NOV 2010: DEC 2011: ??? JAN so far obviously because this month sucks :1orglaugh What are your's? Lets see how mixed these results will be :) |
May aswell start planning next feb aswell. where is nice this time of the year?
Taking a 4 week break in 2012 I think :1orglaugh |
hard to tell anymore, i didn't pay much attention when the money was rolling in from hour to hour in $100's, now from what i can tell it's getting worse and worse, although sometimes one month is significantly better than the next one but that's still nothing compared to few years ago.

December is the best, July the worst :)

July makes sense, with the whole "summer slowdown". lower sales in summer aswell here but not as bad as february. |
Now? :) Its hard to guage. Usually this month then when the air warms up in spring :) Summer usually isn't bad.. its the WEBMASTERS AND MARKETERS NOT BOTHERING that cost them sales :D
|
in 2010 i have done better in the first 8 months (with some ups and downs) and then shitty september, solid october and november but since the december until now it's already beyond critical (various sites, niches, sponsors).

It's not stupid or pointless in some people eyes. comparing notes! |
Remember that you have 2 to 3 less days in Feb. than the other months. Make sure you're looking at how much money on average you make per day for each month and not just the total for the month because Feb. will always come up short with less days.

It's that bad, it doesn't matter how many days there is. |

For me, worst is February, although we had some Valentine's Day promotions and "extra" traffic hitting this year so, in the end, Feb will be a "normal" month, which is actualy a "good" month, if you know what I mean.
Best? Hmmm... I can give you time spans, not specific months: April-June are good, as are Oct-Dec. So the other months of the year fall into the "normal" (meaning: steady sales/average) category. PS: What will76 said. :) |
Thanks Will and MisterPB :thumbsup

I find between jan 1st and up to dec 31st.
