Thanks for the input. As for us, sometimes I am seeing more traffic on the weekdays sometimes on the weekend. But mostly weekdays we have more traffic. I'm trying to find what's the norm for other people. :thumbsup |
We normally have more traffic weekdays i think it is because people browse when they are at work and their Mrs are not about as a tread we see more sales during the week but this could be because affiliates work harder during the week.

Sundays for some reason are my strongest sales/traffic days. Not quite sure why but it has been like that for the past 6 months or so.

Bump for AK. |
Weekends are always busier for our affiliate sales, usually a 40-50% increase over the weekdays.
|
Historically, for me, whether celebrity, foot fetish, or whatever I have almost ALWAYS seen the majority of my sales during the week. It's not to say some do not happen on the weekend. But, many more on average are closed for me are week days.
:2 cents: |
Weekend traffic is usually up 30% for me.
|
(affiliate here) weekends sales have been kicking weekdays in the ass for several months now. a couple of saturdays recently did like 50-60% more. by contrast, some weekdays (usually monday - tuesday) are really bad, sometimes less than half the average.
i been figuring for a while now that there has been a change in the way credit card transactions are handled and have even asked in the forum several times for some inside info but no one is saying shit as for traffic, weekends are always slightly less than weekdays. that hasn't changed |
Our traffic and sales both peak through the weekend and valley mid week. It's been this way consistently the 10 years I've been here.
|
Sundays and Mondays have always been good to me.
Fridays have always been lower. Also, the middle and end of the month are always a little lower. I'm talking sales not traffic. |
friday - sunday night are low...picks back up lateeee sunday

Do you work more on weekdays or weekend? I'm assuming you do take it easier on the weekend, no? |
Traffic is consistent the whole week for penis pills. But sales increase huge as the day gets later.
|
I see more traffic via normal days then weekends

For us... it's been about the same for as long as I can recall.
Weekends are normally more traffic, thus more sales. Mix in a good weekend with good ratios, and the weekday can't ever compete. For the weekdays, the traffic being lower normally keeps the sales lower, however for as long as I can remember, some weeks/days would spike all because of the ratio. Traffic would be normal weekday traffic but sales would skyrocket, like a processor unplugged a hole for a few days, then put the plug back in later in the week. Biggest spikes, are when Paydays for the 1st and 16th fall on a Friday, that weekend always rocks. Worst ratio weeks are long payday weeks, it may be a good weekend if the Friday falls on the first, but the next weekend and following week, will suck because everyone is out of Money. |
sales definitely better over the weekend for us, about 10-15% better, although lately tuesdays have been on fire... no idea why
|
more often than not our sales go up a bit over a weekend, but it is a small percentage usually and barely worth mentioning. We have big days during the week periodically too, so its like trying to predict the weather i find--i even call my daily stats reports weather reports. One thing that is pretty universal though is that a lot more people signing up later in the day than earlier.
|
There is no "normal" - everyone's traffic is differant, everyone's traffic patterns are differant, differant surfers, differant business models, differant traffic sources, differant traffic strategies.
So: judge your own patterns and work within them; asking others their experiences is like asking the monthly generic "How are your sales this month?" threads. Differant for everybody. Sorry if that's not what you're looking for but that's reality. |

Traffic and sales go up Friday - Monday. Have a nice day.
|
I was just looking at this the other day and right now it seems we are on a steady pace both ways. No real jump for either.
