Arggg. Site is still down for me

RuthB 02-22-2011 02:07 PM

After investigation it has become clear that our primary website www.Paxum.com is currently experiencing a large malicious DDOS attack. All Paxum server technicians and administrators are currently working hard and fast to solve the issue.

This malicious DDOS server attack is isolated to the Paxum.com website and does not affect the integrity or security of Paxum Prepaid Mastercards and Paxum ewallet accounts.

All Paxum Prepaid Mastercards and accounts remain fully functional.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we shut down this malicious DDOS attack against our website. Please rest assured that your account security is not in jeopardy and remains our top priority.

The Paxum Inc legal team will be pursuing all legal avenues available to identify and prosecute all perpetrators of this heinous action.

Yes, your Paxum login 'username' is the email address you used to signup with us.

Our tech crew is working as fast as they can to resolve the situation, but unfortunately we do not currently have a time estimate for when the site will be back up. ASAP is the priority of course!

In the meantime, if you have any concerns you can feel free to contact any of our friendly customer support reps via email or IM support.

We have also extended the hours of our Toll Free Phone line support during this outage and our support team will now be available for you until Midnight EST this evening (and returning at 6AM EST tomorrow) on the following number - 1.866.347.4781 (direct - 1.212.500.1885)

We are doing everything in our power to get the Paxum.com site back online as soon as possible. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

How can a site of a payment processor be down? You ought to invest in a load balanced server setup RIGHT AWAY!

ContentPimp 02-24-2011 05:47 AM
