Paxum going down?

I hope this is not another epass.

Took awhile to load then on login I get:

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type SoapFault as array in /home/www/lib/toplabs/passport/actions/passport/LoginSaveAction.php on line 59

CaptainWolfy 02-22-2011 04:09 PM

paxum not loading for me :S

Si 02-22-2011 04:11 PM

used my card earlier at godaddy, worked fine

Chris 02-22-2011 04:15 PM

We are not going anywhere. We are experiencing a DDoS attack and we are trying to get it resolved asap.

All card function is fine

RuthB 02-22-2011 04:18 PM

As posted in another thread here on GFY earlier....

After investigation it has become clear that our primary website Paxum.com is currently experiencing a large malicious DDOS attack. All Paxum server technicians and administrators are currently working hard and fast to solve the issue.

This malicious DDOS server attack is isolated to the Paxum.com website and does not affect the integrity or security of Paxum Prepaid Mastercards and Paxum ewallet accounts.

All Paxum Prepaid Mastercards and accounts remain fully functional.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we shut down this malicious DDOS attack against our website. Please rest assured that your account security is not in jeopardy and remains our top priority.

The Paxum Inc legal team will be pursuing all legal avenues available to identify and prosecute all perpetrators of this heinous action.

Thanks for the response. I didn't stress about epass having problems thinking things would work out - cost me 20k. So when I see Paxum having issues, just not ready to make the same mistake. Hope you guys get it worked out!

baddog 02-22-2011 04:28 PM

I probably would not post a link to the site. You don't want additional clicks do you?

spazlabz 02-22-2011 05:55 PM

man that sucks ass I hope it gets resolved quickly and you actually do get whoever is attacking the site

CaptainHowdy 02-22-2011 06:10 PM

Get well soon, Paxum!

"We appreciate your patience and understanding while we... yada yada yada... Please rest assured that your account security is not in jeopardy and remains our top priority."

Wow, that gave me e-pass flashbacks!

Not saying that it's not so, Paxum dudes, just saying that particular phrase gave me the e-pass jitters...

Maybe I have post e-pass stress syndrome...

You would say this because you couldn't handle an attack worth shit with your shitty little 'SEO' fake hosting service. Don't talk to people trying to do real business you old shit head fuck, go back to trying to trick people into buying one of your shitty servers.

Probably wont happen. You are being hit by drones from a botnet network.

1) You pissed of some connected scumbag
or
2) Someone payed some russian assholes a handsome sum to hit you

There are technology and competence you can deploy to fend off this, but it will cost you. I am sure you guys are on it already.

iamtam 02-22-2011 10:27 PM

ddos in motion.

kazbalah 02-23-2011 12:23 AM

A dd0s attack is entirely different then the epass situation..

Keeping 20K in an anonymous 'money moving' account was in hindsight your first mistake ..

Yes I lost a couple grand of funds, and much more in lost monthly billings .... I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER ... but I NEVER keep any more in any account then I am prepared to lose.

:2 cents::2 cents:

Why don't you tell us how you REALLY feel?!? :Oh crap

Even if there is bad blood between you and baddog, that is no way to conduct yourself in public, so congrats on putting yourself on my "never do biz with ... " radar.

I ounce of thought about how we conduct ourselves in the public eye, would make this board (and maybe even the world ...) a much better place.

Just my :2 cents:

TeenCat 02-23-2011 01:28 AM

hm i must say right now is paxum not fully working, at least i cannot transfer money from paxum to my paxum card, anyone else please? lets hope to get this solved asap :thumbsup

darksoul 02-23-2011 02:31 AM

@paxum guys
your server should not show those errors which provide useful info for someone looking to do you harm.
Get your server admins to block those and put a custom error page in place.

Chris 02-23-2011 09:15 AM

Everything is up and running - some slow spots still but our techs have pretty much stopped the DDoS attack. We are watching it close to make sure it doesnt go down again.

Also if you happen to be using Google DNS or some other dns that has long cache times switch to opendns or your isp's dns server

_Richard_ 02-23-2011 09:56 AM

You shouldn't even make comments like that because EVERYONE is fine and not going anywhere until they are suddenly gone with everyone's money. And it always starts with small issues and reps saying nothing is wrong.

Better to just leave it at, "We are experiencing a DDoS attack." Because if they do fold one of these days and you're left holding your dick, you don't want to be "the guy" who helped them fuck everyone.
