What kind of PROMO MAERIALS do you need?
 

I would really appreciate it if you guys told me what kind of promo materials you need most!
That would be very helping, maybe you could give a sample of promo that works for you.
So which of the following?

1. FHGs
- Do you need large-format FHGs? For instance
- Should it be mixed fhg (photo + video) or better separately photo and video?
- Do you need desks on fhg?
- What's most optimal duration of video for fhg?
- Any other comments/suggestions?

2. FLV
- What's most optimal duration of video?
- Any example of most apposite FLV export tool

3. Feeds
- Any example of most apposite RSS feeds
- Any example of most apposite XML feeds

4. Banners
- What are most popular sizes for banners? What do you require?
- Do you need flash banners?

5. Descriptions - Separate desks (about 15-20, short and long) for sites

6. FPA/HPA
- Do you need that at all?

Maybe you need any extra promo materials like Pop Up Tools, Corner Peel Advertising, pop-up pages etc.?

Anyways...I'm a blogger. All I do is blog...after blog...after blog. All I use are banners for sidebars and ad spots, fhgs (which sometimes I skim the content out and make my own but most of the time I just use the hosted galleries from the sponsor). I also need access to logos and some content in case a sponsors banners or fhgs suck and I need to make my own. All of the other stuff I don't use (white labels, morphing feeds, flash banners, pop ups, etc) but I plan to give some of that stuff a try in the future, but in no way do I 'need' them.

Good luck in trying to get any useful information here.

7. A free Membership :)

Some of my traffic i generate with blogs and i like it to descripe the best updates and also new updates, to find and descripte this updates its the easiest way a free membership.

1-6 is the basic configuration for most webmaster and i also use them.

For the FHGs with video, I like thumbnails in a variety of sizes.
Some sponsors do that, most don't.

I usually take a screen shot of the FHG and crop it.

Yeah... Wish I could get more replies.... :)

But anyway, thanks to everyone who answered, it helps a great deal!

For me, I need FHG's and horizonal banners, then over time I need more FHGs.

The above are useless to me unless the FHG's are tailored toward my niche

those large format FHG's actually look pretty good.

Descriptions are crucial when it comes to FHG's. The first thing I do when I join a program is grab all their FHGs and import them into my db. However, the majority of FHG's in my db never get listed on my network simply because they have no description or because they have crapy descriptions. FHG descriptions should be tailored to the FHGs. If the girl in the FHG is blond, the description should mention that she's blond. A program with only 10 FHGs with decent descriptions will get more traffic from me than a program with 5000 FHGs with no or crappy descriptions.

as long as I can export the flv url, title or description, length and a thumb url in either TAB delimited or | delimited format, I'm happy.

The important thing with rss feeds:
- regular updates (doesn't need to be daily or even weekly, but at least a couple of times / month)
- don't try to be clever: some programs spit out the same content in their rss feeds and simply alter the pubdate. (like dogfart for example)
- content is king when it comes to rss feeds, so don't jsut recycle your fhg descriptions into an rss wannabe feed.

Personally, I'll take a few good FHGs with great descriptions, sites that convert (with no traffic leaks) and may be a couple great banners (that actually get click and don't look like they were made back in 1997) over flashy corner peel ads etc...

flvs - 3-6 minutes with a HIGH QUALITY thumb made from the picture stills set and a matching description

banners - rotating banners doing high CTR - check your local illegal tube for examples

Can you guys update your host/flv section? Break it down by duration as well. You have your 45, 60 second and 180 second videos mixed together.
