If any wordpress gurus appear in here, do you know how to get Custom Fields to appear in Add New Post, for some reason they're missing in a theme that's meant to have them

You have to turn them on in the new version of wordpress in the screen options up top.

could be a zillion things... Is it a HTML/CSS issue? Poor / typo'd coding? etc

Thank you so much BCyber! You have just improved my day a lot. Normally with something like that it's fairly easy to Google, but I must have spent 45 minutes and not found the solution. I was starting to think it was a bug with my theme rather than an option
