Who are some other great billing companies?

IMO can't do better than Epoch.

I second the vote for Epoch been around a long time and i've used them as a backup processor since 2000

If you do decide to get a direct merchant account, I have a great option for you. VERY competitvely priced, easy to setup...

I think you should definitely shoud speak to everyone and see what works best for you, but I am very confident in what we are offering.

I would consider L3 Payments right at the top. If you are looking for your own direct merchant account we may be a good fit for you.
