1 usd = 0.97 cad
American affiliates have it tough right now? Try losing about $1 for every $35 sale you send on top of worse conversion rates when it used to be the other way around! :helpme

Prepare yourself for the Amero http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_A...currency_union

No doubt.... i'm waiting on pulling several hundred USD out of an account because the conversion to CAD is so shitty right now. Like wait a few weeks and make back like 40-50 bucks.... yeah it's worth it at this point!
|
Yeah, this exchange is killing me. Oh, to get back the 65cent Canadian dollar...
|
It just keeps getting worse for us canuks who earn USD. The best way I've found to profit off the strong loonie is buying houses south of the border.
|
Damn, I remember when $1 US would get you $1.69 CDN
|
10 years ago when I lived in canada, I loved getting paid my US paycheck there. I believe it was 1:1.65 back then.
|
It definitely hurts. Just transferred 1K USD which got me 960.10 CAD

I really would love nothing more than for you fucking yanks to get your shit together and strengthen that dollar up. On the plus side, buying out of the states is great right now. |
It's the end of the Canadian peso!
Get use to it, the amount of currency the US Bureau of Engraving and Printing is creating, combined with energy prices should send US inflation through the roof. |
Like I said earlier, the plus side is that if you have a lot of CAD right now, everyone who works online works for USD. The time has never been better to outsource a boatload of work and expand your empire before the USD starts gaining strength again... :2 cents:

it's going to get worse with oil going up...
|
Happened about 5 years ago too. Not the end of the world.
But yeah, I miss watching my $699.95 sales turn into about $1050. |
