MacBook Air 11" Who has it?

Thinking about picking one up. Share your experience, how do you like it? Is the screen big enough for daily webmaster stuff, bit of coding, bit of photoshop? Does the SSD make up for the slower CPU? Working on a 13" MacBook Pro daily, sometimes just too bulky to me.

Thnx in advance.

There have been some problems with 11" model, have read about it a while ago...

I got one just a few days ago, loved the portability compared to the 17". I wouldn't use it for much PS, but for coding, email and surfing it's perfect.

Who the fuck can actually develop on that small of a screen?

I dunno, sometimes I look at my 13" screen and I'm like. This is too big... I'd rather have it a bit smaller. Might change my mind when I'm on the 11" for a week though, hope they have a good return policy :)

Get a dell min10v and install snow leopard on that bad boy. My Hackbook Air is awesome and only cost me 250 bucks. Hackintosh FTW

Beat that :)

Nah man, not the same by a long shot.

My 12" Mac Powerbook is still my favorite by far, .... and I also have the Acer Aspire (8.9"), the AAO-751h (11.6"), an iPad 32GB Wifi (10.1") and a TOSHIBA Satellite Pro A200-AH9 (15.4")

I was really thinking about getting the 11" Air, but I got a deal on the iPad that I could not pass on ...

I do like my portable computers to be portable ... :thumbsup

The wife got one a month ago - personally I'd go with the 13" but she loves it. It's the same size as an ipad, weighs about as much, so fuck yeah I'd take that over an ipad anyday. Wouldn't at all think of doing photoshop on it, I never even put it on, but it just looks too small to do anything other than surf/email/word docs on...

I'll be trading in the ageing MBP15" for the 13" shortly.

Yeah maybe I'll take the 13"... I dunno yet. Choices, choices.

i have my macbook pro 13" for portable stuff, anything PS like is going on my 22" Dell or at least 17" laptop.

It's super portable and really quick. Personally I think it's a bit small to stare at all day, but great on the go. If you use at home/office grab the bluetooth mouse/keyboard and a bigger monitor and you will have the best of both worlds.

Yeah that's actually my plan, get the cinema display and hook it up at home.
