Have you ever used a slim mouse?

Seems very compact and easy to store, but I don't know how user-friendly really is...

"The new 2P Slim USB Optical Mouse is a laptop mouse that transforms itself in order to be easily stored yet easily used when traveling and working with a laptop. This 5mm thin, fine-looking ?piece of mouse?, fits inside the laptop memory card slot or a small pocket, and solves both the problem of always having dead batteries, and finding extra space for a bulky mouse in your laptop case."

Probably a good way to make your hand ache.

loreen 03-05-2011 01:21 AM

Ok then... I'll take that as a no :)

Chosen 03-05-2011 06:29 AM

What is the actual size of this mouse?

CaptainHowdy 03-05-2011 06:41 AM

i like good old mouse stuff

Frasier 03-05-2011 07:32 AM

hell no, I like big ass mouse. If they made rats, I'd pay double for one of those.

About a month ago, I dropped 100.00(way too much for a mouse) for a new mouse cause it actually fit my hand. Getting harder and harder to buy big mice as everyone is pushing 'portable, laptop' mice which I cant get more than two of my fingers on

Thinnest one I have ever used is an apple magic mouse. Didnt like it at first, but soon got used to it.

I love my logitech g5 laser mouse and will not replace it with anything.

Actually i did replace it when I wore the cable out, with another logitech g5.

spazlabz 03-05-2011 09:20 AM

that mouse, well both of them, look incredibly fragile. I would be afraid I'd break it all the time

PROTIP: Use a gaming mouse.

MetaMan 03-05-2011 02:34 PM

I have a Microsoft Intelli mouse from maybe 8-10 years ago now. The brand label has even rubbed off. All i know is when it first came out cost me $150 i think. i love it, travel with it, and would never switch from it.

i have bigger hands and it fits perfect.

DangerX !!! 03-05-2011 04:03 PM

It looks ugly and inconvenient.

u-Bob 03-05-2011 04:09 PM

small computer mouses are only good for one thing: practicing your throwing skills...

You too? Unfortunately,1 of my old MS ball-mice doesn't function properly anymore, the second one is still fine but I have switched to MS IntelliMouse Explorer (wire of course) it's even better than old ball stuff, though it takes time to get used to lighter weight...

Love that mouse too and had the same problem, stupid braided cable!

fatfoo 03-05-2011 09:26 PM

This mouse is sure flat and thin. It seems to me that a mouse with a smooth 3D shape is more pleasant to hold.

Why haven't they came out with something that tracks my eye movement and "clicks" when I blink" or something like that :)

You blink every few seconds without even thinking about it. Would be a disaster clicking on all sorts of things at random.

I know, right?

When I got the thing I thought the replaceable adjustable weight caddy was the stupidest excess I'd ever seen, but then realized there is a huge advantage to being able to decide how much you want your mouse to weigh.

Logitech FTW. I got a G700 wireless for my laptop, it is like a Cadillac. That flimsy little piece of shit would break in my hands, it's a Vespa at best... :thumbsup

They do. I have something just like it. Let me know when you're ready to drop $1,500 and I'll hook you up.

They have that on the HUD in some military jets.
