I prefer the new electric Rolls Royce :) Price tag ; approx $1.6 million ...cost to run approx 3 cents a mile..range of 125 miles on a full charge.

I would drive that car, it would be funny as hell since I would fill that drivers compartment... the laughs alone would be worth it

I'd drive it on errands no problem. I think you'd be shit out of luck if you see any sort of winter weather though.

Nice little car but I wouldn't have the courage to drive it on regular basis.

No shit, They screwed anyone in the US years ago (80's) who happen to have their engines and pulled out of the USA market (= equals you cannot get parts). I have a Renault aluminum diesel sitting here that worth it weight in scrap an that about it... Plus, 24k was really pushing the limits of the engine. you would be shocked at the number of them around with 15-20k original miles that are totally gone.

I have always had the theory that they deliberatly make the cars ugly so you WONT buy it - and you keep buying the gas ones.

For sure, but the Tesla is really small, they need a bigger sports car.

I drove a real Tesla Roadster last summer ($100k) and loved it, but it was too small for my 6'3" tall frame. If I'm going to drop a hundred k, I have to love everything about the car.

The Model S sedan looks awesome, and at $50k its in the perfect price range. If performance is as good as a similar gas car (not just speed but handling and comfort too) then I'm sold.

The United States government offers a $7,500 tax credit for purchasing a Tesla. That knocks some off of it.

Of course it can.. It's so damn light that a light breeze will sweep it up and carry it away to a far off land.

A 1 seater electric car, that will definitely help your social life

I think you're right because nearly all electric cars look like pure shit OR cost more than the average man can afford.
