Is there a market for selling stories?
 

Hey all,

I'm curious if there's a market for selling stories to site owners and/or webmasters looking to market sites. Are there content sellers that will sell the stories for me or could I open my own shop to sell them? Also, can stories be sold in a non-exclusive manner as filler for a member's area (for example) or would they have to be exclusive. Any information or experience you have would be welcome. Thanks.

Nowadays I would look into placing your content in serial fashion on itunes, for mobile phone reading (big in japan, catching on elsewhere, can just be optimized website so bypasses itunes censors), amazon on e-readers, etc....

For sure we have lots of hosting customers that have been doing it for years.

If I make up a story to go with one of my galleries it greatly improves conversions!

If there are some dutch story's i'm interested as well..

You should do more than just story writing. Have you considered writing for blogs?

I've been writing stories for about 4 years now and they sell quite well to various webmasters. I'm currently doing most of my stories at the moment for escort agencies to get their keywords and phrases in etc. Do you have a website? It's good to get some samples out there.

Someone also said blogging. This is a great idea too if you can write well, but you have to be quick to do enough to make any decent money. Most people don't want good content sadly, they just want descriptions, filler content and stuff that's tailored around keywords.
