iBill Slow Down ?

Has anyone else noticed that both rebilling and new signups via iBill have fallen off since the new VISA regulations came into force in December ?

We would normally expect signups to go up around this time of year but instead have noticed a fall ?

Anyone any ideas or is it just a general market trend ?

People are leaving Ibill left and right if you check some of the past threads over the past few months. People are moving to CCbill and Epoch.

You've been happy because you haven't been fucked yet. Wait until you are, and trust me, it's just a matter of time. Get off the sinking ship before you drown.

I was doing a record business with Ibill until about the 13th. During the week they were doing their IP changes everything slowed right down.

You can always tell when there is an issue with the CC processing...The ratio of 900 and check sales goes way up.

I have used ibill since 1997, never been fucked by them yet. I did put one of my servers down at cave creek/ccbill, horrible company. had them send my server right back to me. wouldnt use them for anything.

Interesting feedback. my main issue with iBill has always been that they never tell you what is going on until you push them. Before xmas they lost all non-US credit card processing for about a week and at first wouldn't admit to anything. It was only after we ran some CC's from outside the USA and go screen shots of the error messages, did they finally admit they had gone into 'standby processing mode'

We lost $$$ during the week but then everything picked up again, until now !

No they won't tell you what is wrong, which would be nice as you could switch primary processors to catch the lost signups.

There were quite a few drop outs before Christmas, and I think one just over the past few days. The only way you would know is experience, plus the clues given by increased secondary and check sales.

Try Glo-bill or ACpay. It's not looking too good for iBill these days....
