I have the ipad and will have the ipad2 ... i dont NEED it - i just wanted it. So i wasnt really shopping for the best bargin for what i NEEDED.

It was a want - that I could afford - so I got it.

The nook is a nook...the ipad is an ipad ... both have its pro's and con's

i have the galaxy tab and love it, mainly because of it's size, the ipad was too big for me. but a buddy of mine got a tablet from dealextreme.com with android 2.1 10" tablet for less than 200 $. It has all the standard features and works pretty good :thumbsup

I have a 32GB wifi iPad and I must say I have been very impressed with it ...

I still have a hardon a mile long for the Blackberry Playbook, but for now the Ipad does me just fine, and it always makes me a few new friends in the cafe or bars ...

The iPad's "cool factor" is still very high!

kindle doesn't run android.... nook color hack has been a while but a great hack nonetheless... xoom by motorola is nice but $600-$800

RIMM is insane. Barnes and Noble can by accident ship a 90% functional Android tablet and RIMM haven't had anything to market yet. They are basically Palm in 3 years from now.
