Ipad 2 and flash
Anyone have it? Does it support flash or not. I mean, can you for example go to any porn tube site and use it there or not?
|
One thing is hardware and the other software, flash could work even on the oldest iphone, if they wanted and finally made a deal with adobe.

ipad or iphone will never, ever have flash because it is a competitor for apples app store.

Apple does not allow flash on this device.
New sites use HTML 5---which the iPad (1 and 2) do run. |
if you want Flash, Android is the way to go :2 cents:
|
still no flash... you must wait for iPad 3... :)

Steve Jobs has said many times he wont be adding flash to iphones/ipads.

It could be stubborn decisions like not allowing flash that kills the ipad and apple. Consumers don't want to be told what they can and can't run on their computers etc. I wouldn't buy one for that very reason and I’m sure I’m not alone.

Flash is shitty, buggy, battery draining and easily exploitable. Check out some benchmarks on their newest mobile version that was supposed to launch with the Xoom. At this point flash sites are used by restaurant and club owners who don't know any better or 30 year old hairdressers who embed FLV videos on their myspace pages. Insert additional anecdotal example painted with a broad brush.

Not being able to surf tube sites is a big drawback for me. Unfortunate, that apple doesn't allow the option to install flash. I can't even imagine an internet without any tube sites whatsoever, other than Youtube.
