older one: serpent and the rainbow was pretty cool. not humorous or the typical zombie flick but worth watching.

I don't think I've ever hated a movie more than Deadgirl. It's morally bankrupt in the worst way. Props to your boy though for getting a movie made.

look for "Wild Zero" a bit obscure but its a great, funny Japanese zombie movie

those were both great Zombie movies with comedy aspects to them.

Zombieland had a lot of humor with it too. Fucking awesome movie if you haven't seen it yet.

I just watched ZombieLand this morning. Great movie. It always makes me laugh.

I love the opening scenes of 28 Days Later when the dude is walking through London by himself... Amazing shots.

honestly its quite tough to find a GOOD zombie movie. I say that not as a movie snob but as someone who LOVES the idea of zombies coming to get us. I find myself always disappointed when going to catch the latest one. Some are better than others, the good ones have a form of balance in them and not just about gore and violence. Some are more action packed, I liked a lot about Dawn of the Dead. Great characters and decent story except for that last 20 minutes and Resident Evil is lots of fun as well. I think there are better zombie stories in video games than they put on screen for the most part, probably have better writers too.

I went to see shaun of the dead... pizza hut... then dawn of the dead in one sitting, best zombie day in history... fact.

if you saw Dead Alive (Braindead) you have already seen the best of all times

But Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland were quite amusing too

not sure i agree with that.. whats the difference? they didn't talk and fight crime like the xmen,, they stumbled around and hunted people and didn't speak... sounds undead to me!


that being said there was some zombies monsters in Army of Darkness so I think it needs a mention as well...

the difference was it was an infection. There was ultimately a cure in the end. There is no cure for zombieism.

Nothing can beat the paranormal zombies from "City Of The Living Dead" ...

I still like the first one, watched it a few times. The rest just seemed to get worse and worse.

Tokyo Zombie is fucking awesome. It's not for everyone, some people lose patience for it in the begining, but I think it's great.

If you wanna laugh too, Zombieland is awesome!

that would make for a pretty messed up movie in itself wouldn't it? curing a zombie would be even worse.. missing half there face and all there skin but talking like the rest of us? hehe
