Feedback on my writing service site
 

Back in December I started doing a few writing jobs for a few people. I then started pass some of the work off to a few of the models I work with regularly. Since then things have started picking up so I got a domain www.expresswritersonline.com and made a basic site using wix. Its nothing real fancy but I think I works for what we are doing? I would love any feedback you guys might be able to give me on the site.
I have also made a thread in the now hiring as we are currently taking on new clients.

Why don't you add some examples.. prices.. complete service list. Looks like you're missing a ton of stuff. I'd also recommend not using flash for your entire website, or a website creator.

One thing -- and this is obviously just in my opinion, but... I think if you're going to promote and purport yourself as a writer for hire, it would behoove you to clean up your board posts a bit. I'm seeing a lot of typos, sentences started without caps, lack of punctuation, etc, and that's just in the few posts you've made in this thread. If I was looking to hire someone to write for me I would be looking at this and wondering if your work is any better than your posts.

Random posts in other threads, yes I can see posting however you want, but when it is a thread about your writing business, welllll... I think you might want to start previewing and proofreading your posts.

Its just a basic site ...can you tell me why flash if bad?

In regards to your other comments...I am not actually one of the writers as I use other writers to do the actual work for our customers. Not saying that I can't write properly as I of course still have to proof my writers work to ensure quality control. When I made the post I was just in board posting mode but you made a very good point....thank you for the feedback anyone else??

Hey bro, I'd suggest using wordpress. My brother made a site for his art using wix and while their system is functional it is a bit lacking for people to find in search since it is all in flash.

Some hosts offer good deals on virtual servers that can host wordpress with 1 click installs and upgrades. Amerinoc had a special on St. Patricks for like 17 for the first year.

Honestly, if you just need the domain hosted email me [email protected] I'll set you up with wordpress on it too.

Not to be a dick, but the first paragraph doesn't really flow and has 2 mistakes.

Not the sort of thing people look for in a writer.

Actually I just looked into that and for like 5 bux you can get rid of that which isnt bad but I think I am going to redo the site in word press.
