Soooooooooo you're a registered voter here in the United States or is this another generalized Canadian rant? |
Who exactly is considering electing Donald Trump to be President?
|
All he did on The View today was guarantee one more day of news wire coverage. If he was really concerned maybe he would keep his ass off the news and let them cover important stuff like lindsay lohan.

If he runs he'll spend a metric ton of money, disrupt Dem/Rep votes, and eventually lose.

He can't officially run until The Apprentice season ends due to campaign laws. So expect a lot of political grandstanding as a method of keeping his name in the news until then. People won't hold this stuff against him once he officially kicks off his campaign.
If the Republican party has any sense, they will push Trump hard. He is the only candidate that can step up to Obama in the debates. |

He has my vote... this country needs some good management.

Am I the only one who thinks he is making a bunch of noise just to draw attention to himself and give his show publicity and then when the show is over he will give some lame reason not to run?
There are at least three reasons I don't think he will run, at least not seriously. First, you have to surrender all your financial information. The guy has bankrupted his company a few different times and I'm sure there are more than a few shady deals hidden in there that will be brought to life and could hurt his brand. Second, if he were to win he would have to turn all his finances over to a third party group that would control them so that he won't be tempted to sign/push laws that could benefit him and/or squash those that could hurt him. I don't see him doing something like that. Third, to run a legit presidential campaign you need to basically live it 24/7 from now until election day. He knows about his business and he knows some about politics. Every day he would have to study, decide policy and educate himself on world events, his stance on them, who all these people are and how they affect the country. It is a lot of work and I'm not sure he would be willing to do it because it would mean that he would have to let his family or others run his company while he did this because he wouldn't have time for both. My belief is that once Celebrity Apprentice is over, he will announce that now is not the time for him to run. |

I am sure Obama will show the actual birth certificate soon and put this all to rest. It is a very easy thing to do.
