Hey Everyone - Getting started
 

Hi everyone, brand new to the forum and trying to get into the business. I am hoping I can get some advice on my strategy.

Since I am inexperienced, ignorant on most of this right now, and on a low budget, I bought a few names and figure it may be best to make some white label sites while I try to get things going.

I initially bought spankhappy.com thinking it was clever, but after reading a bit on here I realized I should target niche tlds. I have since purchased a few domain names that I thought would cater to some of the cam sites (the sites they claim to bring the most revenue). Some examples are daterfeed, latinviewer, ebonyviewer, asianviewer, and a few more (about 13 names). I got the .com and the .net domains for each and the plan is to try and create sites for a couple of affiliate programs with the niche tlds and maybe try to do a content based affiliate site with the spankhappy domain.

I figure if things work out for the best I could try to make my own site with the general domain in the future. If anyone could offer some advice or let me know if I am on the right track, it would be greatly appreciated. I am also curious if the names I chose sound ok.

I was thinking awe, clickcash, and hustlercash on the general domain, any opinions on affiliates?

I hope I haven't broken the tos in my first post here by listing some of my domains, I just purchased them and they are not up for business.

On a side note, I have been reading through the posts these past few days while waiting for activation and there is a lot of really great info I hadn't thought of and would have had trouble finding elsewhere. I appreciate and look forward to everyone's feedback.

I really hope I don't come off too generic sounding, but I probably can't avoid it... :-)

I've been operating a solo girl site for about 7 months, and I literally had no idea what to expect at the official launch. Dont get me wrong... I had done a ton of research and prep work... But I wasn't at all sure about what to expect...

I asked for advice and feedback on several forums... And received some responses...

In hind site, some of it was spot on, and other stuff was way off... Which is to be expected... But I clearly remember someone telling me my site would never convert because of it being photos only.... Man I was really concerned I about that... Turns out it did convert... Even better than I had expected...

I think the best advice I can give is to study the sites that you want yours to be like... And as a starting point Do what they are doing... Look at their traffic sources (from places like Alexa (dot) com)... Once you start getting data, then you'll know what's working...

I'm in my research-period as well. Tons of stuff to learn, but hey; that's why it's interesting.
I believe the two basic rules at first probably should be admitting I know shit and be willing to learn :upsidedow

This is probably the best forum i've joined .Was lucky to find it.

Everyone has been extremely helpful and has a great attitude. I've been learning so much from the few days I have been here. I've posted 3 topics and have received input/advice quickly, no flaming, just good people offering great feedback. I'm sure similar posts have been written in the past but everyone has been very kind. Makes me anxious to get going, learn, and contribute as well.

I have purchased 30 - 40 niche domains mostly ending in viewer (boobviewer,asianviewer, etc) and a few others (foreigncam, cams, foreignwebcam, webcams) in hopes to build a name/network for myself and I hope to do business with you all as soon as I can design the layouts (starting as w/l's and maybe more in the future if I can generate some revenue for it).

I've been working my 9-5, then coming home and working on and off on this until like 2 - 3 am for like a week now. I have tunnel vision on getting this going lol. I'm working on a tube vod site through aebn and a webcam site through another affiliate right now, hope to get more going as soon as i get these how i want em.

Thanks for the support. I've joined so many programs, its nuts. Gonna try to use all of you as much as I can. 7 sites up so far, lot more to go.

Just bought blogaboutporn.com and have to sift through the sponsors to see how many of you provide morphiong feeds. I may try to do some type of random blog postings by sponsor and niche, I don't even know myself yet lol.

I am glad for all the content though, all the programs I've joined so far are good with content and the customer support is generally really nice as well.

Engine, I am working on the design right now but will pm ya when I start putting in content if that's alright. I'm gonna have one affiliate per niche with their blogs, a banner and prob a page peel if the affiliate has one. I'll make a spanking link and build a page under gay and put your feed in it.

I'm going to use the blog site to link to my sponsor driven tube and cam sites which in turn also link back to the blog site, so with any luck it will work out well for everyone if i can drive traffic to the sites.

Your affiliate layout is rly nice btw. I wanted to do something with the jquery slider before I decided to do legal tubes/cams it looks really cool.
