Opening a Paypal acc with a Paxum card possible?

Yes or no?

Chris 03-24-2011 08:13 AM

Yes and No.

Personally - I've been able to but some people ive spoken to have not been able to.

Almost daily i pay a paypal invoice using my paxum card w/ out logging into my account tho.

Chris, you mean you have subscriptions made or is there any other way to pay on Paypal without them demanding you create an account?

Were the people that are unable to create an account located outside US/CA?

Also did you tie the Paxum card to your existing Paypal account or did you create a new account completely?

I apologise for making such an unorthodox, off the wall suggestion, but why don't you just TRY and open a paypal account with a paxum card?

You could answer your own question then.

McSpike ,
For example : I Hire you to design me a logo and you want to be paid via paypal. I would request that you go into your paypal account and send me a money request to my email that's not tied to any paypal account of mine. When I got the invoice I would click a link that is on the invoice screen stating that I wish to pay without an account. You will be able to pay via your paxum card. That has worked for everyone i've talked to about it.

Now as for setting up your paxum card as a loading method on an existing paypal account. Personally - i've gotten this to work.

People ive talked to in other countries have no been able to get it to work.

If you are located in the united states or canada and you want to do this - you will add your card to paypal in the settings. Paypal will then do a small pending charge and within the charge details it should contain a code that paypal ask for to verify that its your card.

Currently how paxum is setup we do not display the details of pending charges so you will need to email [email protected] to get that information.

Hope that clears some things up for ya :)

Cuz I don't need a card unless it works with Paypal. So I asked. I have other cards I use on Paypal fine, but if I am to use money off of Paxum directly with Paypal I rather ask than hold my breath till I get declined.

Turns out now I may get declined.
