That's some of the shit I had to deal with in high school from other bands. There were only 3 of the 20+ bands at my high school that could keep timing, sing AND all play their instruments well... the rest of them sounded like that. All just playing their own thing, bass player not having a fucking clue what's going on, and the drummer playing the same beat for 5 minutes.
