I was just there a few weeks ago. pretty crazy IMO.

The Vatican is mostly a HUGE museum with endless amounts of artifacts, statues and paintings, you can easily spend 4 hours walking around checking things out.

this is actually St. Peter's Basilica, NOT the Vatican museum, although both reside in Vatican city. The museum itself and inside the buildings are quiet breath taking with all the work and effort that went into construction.
