please tell me how people actually get high off oxy?

I had one the other day, and i just was dizzy, and tired, and slept for ever.
:error

SmokeyTheBear 04-04-2011 08:19 AM

you have to spin around in circles the opposite way you are dizzy

VikingMan 04-04-2011 08:21 AM

I bet you wasted it by swallowing it. Next time do it the classy way and snort it:thumbsup

BlackCrayon 04-04-2011 08:23 AM

yeah you gotta crush it up and snort it or shoot it.

candyflip 04-04-2011 08:24 AM

If you swallowed it, it has a time release coating.

To get "high" you need to crush it up and snort it.

It's an opiate just like heroin.

Tom_PM 04-04-2011 08:27 AM

It uses the power of oxygen to power away dirt, stains and pimples the night before the big dance.

CS-Jay 04-04-2011 08:27 AM

I've learned something new today

V_RocKs 04-04-2011 08:28 AM

Snort it? Fuck that! Shoot it. That is where the rush is!

aztecboi2003 04-04-2011 08:34 AM

Actually most gals I know smoke it off foil. That's the preferred way here in the Northwest. And there called beans. :2 cents:

alias 04-04-2011 08:39 AM

Dope "high" is heavy, nausea, dizziness. I'm not a fan.. .

PR_Glen 04-04-2011 08:41 AM

I was prescribed some for my appendicitis a few years ago. I didn't see how it could be addictive at first either, just seemed to 'dim the lights' down on everything a bit.. but then after a few days of taking it i noticed that it dimmed down just about everything.. nothing bothered me at all, even the bad stuff...

So I stopped taking it as soon as I could, because I had a strong feeling if i got too used to that it would all come crashing in hard when i stopped. I'm sensitive to most medications anyway so i'm sure mine was exaggerated to most but definitely made me aware of what they can do...

Chosen 04-04-2011 08:44 AM

Never tried...

dallasnovelty 04-04-2011 08:49 AM

I take Percocet and oxycontin daily for my pain because there is no cure for my disease just pain management currently. I usually take between 4-8 10/325 tabs Percs and 2 20mg oxy every day. I know people with my disease who take morphine tabs about 6-8 times a day but I hope I never get in that much pain :(

what kind of disease u have?

Bryan G 04-04-2011 09:03 AM

My buddy is trying to kick that shit. He's been clean for 7 weeks but after seeing him go through what he has I highly recommend not to touch it.

TripleXPrint 04-04-2011 09:05 AM

I've never taken it but have had two friends die from overdoses and my daughter was taking them for a while. I can't stand vicodin or any other pain med, they make me itch while I'm on them and give me the worst case of constipation the next day. Even if I were prescribed oxy, I wouldn't take them. I have a rule, if any drug makes a straight man suck another man's cock, it's not for me. Why would anyone even try it knowing the end game?

Fun Fact: Elvis didn't die from a drug overdose or a heart attack. He died because he took so many pain meds he couldn't shit. That's why he died on the toilet, he was trying to squeeze one out and couldn't. When they performed the autopsy, they pulled feces out of him that was so old it had turned white and was dried up. The King died on the throne because he couldn't pinch a loaf.

TeenCat 04-04-2011 09:10 AM

drugs are bad mmmkay? :)

I have a very rare muscular skeletal disease called Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva or FOP for short, visit IFOPA.org for more info. It translates into my muscles turn to bone and it progresses throughout my body.
http://ifopa.org/images/stories/olds...kskeleton1.jpghttp://ifopa.org/images/stories/olds...ages/Bone2.gif
My body is pretty much building a second skeleton on top of existing one. Any trauma or injury can cause a flareup to occur and a bone to form. It is a genetic disorder that can be passed on but in my case it was just a weird combination of circumstances because no one in our family has had it so it came from a gene mutation caused during gestation. There are only 700 cases or so diagnosed worldwide and only 4 in Texas and 280 in US. The disease causes me to be permanently bent at about 45 degree angle so I am perfectly BOOB high ;) I get tons of people staring at me and trying to figure out what is wrong with me, we had a guy almost walk off the second story at a mall because he had turned around to look at me. Because of this disease I stand about 12-16 hours a day working on the computer and it can get very painful so I constantly shift weight and most times I am more comfortable standing than sitting since I can change positions.

Sorry to thread jack from OP If anyone is interested I'll start a new thread for it.

Wow bro, that sucks! I just read up on it and it sounds horrible. Kudos to you for overcoming it and being productive. I've known people with less that complain about how they didn't get a fair shake in the genetic lottery.

Since when is that the preferred way in the NW? I'd say your Marysville social circle might prefer doing it that way but the top 2 ways in Portland are snorting and shooting.

PornoMonster 04-04-2011 09:37 AM

I didn't read the entire thread, BUT
Some people get high, Some DO NOT.
Some people it just makes them dizzy and they pass out.
The people that get high, they can use these to stay awake.

Simply, same as weed. Some people can smoke that stuff all day and function within the realm of normal.
Some people smoke it, and are like drooling little kids eating everything, who soon pass out!

dallasnovelty 04-04-2011 10:03 AM

They are making big leaps in research and once they find out how to stop it. They will be to use my disease to build bones for Osteoporosis and other bone diseases. This disease is mostly privately funded for research at UPenn Philly so we rely on fundraisers and donations to function since we lost a bunch of gov't funding.

Around here oxy has been called the University Park H since it is one of the most abused drugs at SMU.

Uh.....No.

It depends on how it is taken and what dose it is taken in but considering it's an opiate, to say some people don't get high off it is inaccurate to say the least.

People who act normal on weed do so because they are used to it. Same goes for opiate addicts. To not have it is when they start acting more abnormal. Those who pop pills like this are usually able to hide their addictions until they are going through withdrawal.

Weed doesn't do the same shit to you. Just like opiates, the effect depends on what strain, how it's ingested, and how much. Most people can smoke a sativa and function fine but give those same people a strong indica and watch them clean out your cupboards. Smoke it through a Volcano and watch the world spin. I've seen people eat one batch of magic brownies and function somewhat normal. I've seen the same people each another batch of brownies and fall when they try to stand up.

I know a lot of people who smoke weed. Most of them throw the different names around but know fuck all about what those names and strains actually mean. A prime example of this is the Amsterdam Webmaster Access shows. Everybody runs to the coffee shops and buys White Widow (because that what the shops were pushing that time) then they all go around telling each other how awesome it is not knowing WTF they are talking about....Kinda like your reply in this thread.

ajrocks 04-04-2011 12:36 PM

shooting drugs will never lead to any real issues with your life. It's 100% safe and not addictive!

Angry Jew Cat - Banned for Life 04-04-2011 12:49 PM

This seems to take a lot of effort to get high, may i recommend crack instead?

CurrentlySober 04-04-2011 02:28 PM

i like elvis

Dood 04-04-2011 02:54 PM

My brother is prescribed 12 30mg roxicodones per day, it's instant release oxycodone. He's so messed up constantly he can't even keep his eyes open, has to tilt his head back just to look at you because his eyelids apparently won't open.

fris 04-04-2011 03:35 PM

this was 500mg of oxy

That is 5 mg of oxycodone bound to 500 mg of acetaminophen. 5 mg/acetaminophen 500 mg

The guys in this thread are talking about oxycontin usually 80 mg.

Jakez 04-04-2011 04:31 PM

Well apparently people do get high off it because the abuse of that shit is a fucking epidemic around here for anyone over 12 and I'm sure it's the same in the rest of the country.

It's heroin for the rich. No really.

If you took 500mg of oxycontin you'd be done...time release or not. I never even heard of 500mg oxycontins. Oxycodone maybe since it's cut with acetaminophen but straight up oxycontin, no way.

dynastoned 04-04-2011 05:21 PM

rofl @ 500mg of oxy

dallasnovelty 04-04-2011 06:01 PM

yea it had to be a 10/500 Percocet which is still pretty potent. Percocet is the instant release vs OxyContin which is time release. One of the popular methods I have heard is putting it in your backdoor so it bypasses liver and away you go. This method is also the preferred way to get drunk quick and discreetly for the rich teen girls to wear vodka soaked tampons during school.

shahab6 04-09-2011 03:08 AM

I was snorting them for 11 years, the last two years i was up to 100mg. I wasted a lot of money on them. The good old days...
now been clean for 8 months now with the help of SUB.
Impossible to stay sober from oxy for too long without professional help..
