I think the tar is in the smoke so nothing is going to get rid of it unless it's not being turned to smoke.

My sister was a little hippie girl that smoked all the time, then kids came along. Not wanting to have smoke or smoke smell around the house she really became proficient in alternate THC consumption.

Making butter or oil from weed lets you make all sorts of buzz food. You can also make very interesting drinks with weed aged in vodka then strained.

hit me up if you need to learn about cooking with cannabis. i do it every week in all sorts of forms... medibles with budder (or olive oil), medibles with tincture (glycerin or alcohol).

"canna" butter or "budder" is the most common form and once you make the budder, you can use it on/in anything that calls for butter (or oil). there are tons of videos on youtube but it's very simple.

This is why I love you. No Vaporizers for me either, I'll take my bong Doris any day. Oh and volcanoes are shit too.

Anyways, no on the tar. Just makes it cooler and less harsh.

i do get buzzed vaping. but in all pepsi challenges (schmoking v vaping when not high already and comparing) i am always noticeably more high after schmoke.

If you are going to use a bong because its less harsh and what not I suggest using a triple bubbler. Feels like breathing air so you can hit an entire bowl and look like a pro.

i've had friend do the weed vodka, and it will definitely get you fucked up. i never made it myself so i can't speak for how long you have to age it, or just how much you need to pack into a bottle.

as for cooking it, you need to sort of sautee it for a long time on super low heat. i usually toss an ounce in with about 4 sticks of butter. i use a slow cooker and a glass jar. toss a coupel cups of water in and throw it on high. but a lot people will just use a couple pots set into one another. i've seen people do it just in a sauce pan, but i think that's still too much heat and you'll lose some of the potency.

once you've got your butter you can use it for virtually anything. i like to do garlic toast with it.

as you know water has a negative covalent charge
and the thc once burned also has a negative charge so it goes through the water.
the tar and other impurities are positively charged, so a lot of it is swallowed up by the water...so its better then nothing :)

you are using the vape wrong i am smoking out of it right now and getting amazing hauls while barely hooting on it

i dont know if i said it before but if i take a tissue and put it between my lips and the nozzle of the vape and take a huge haul there is nothing there if i did the same with a bong or a joint the tissue would be sticky and dark brown with resin even off of just one hit

LOL True, it is kind of a "poor man's hash" but the trick is to let it sit there for a few months. I mean, if you want a brain wreck, that is.

I don't like edibles as much because it's so hard to time the high, or control it, it just sort of consumes you and is a massive body high. I like sitting on the couch and listening to Zeppelin as much as the next stoner but I prefer head highs so I can, you know, actually get shit done.

you already got a precooler on there, all you'd be doing is adding one more level of filtration. you're not going to notice much of a difference at that point. nice glass btw.

You don't need to hit the boiling points but the closer you come to them the more you'll get of what you want.

Short of science, think of it this way.

When you smoke a joint, invariably on a microscopic level you're also ingesting tiny plant fibers into your lungs. With a good sized bong, the distance travelled and water will remove a lot of that.

Also the heat isn't good for your lungs, and after just a day or two of bong use you can see all the crud that's inside it.. Without it, where would that crud have gone?

i notice a big difference between using a single filter bong and a double. using the single, you can see way more tar near the moutpiece, compared to the double filtered one i have you see much, much less.

Best bong cleaner is rubbing alcohol and coarse salt. The salt doesn't dissolve easily in alcohol, and acts as an abrasive to scrub the walls off. 70% alcohol will do fine, but 99% isopropyl is even better. I wouldn't spend much extra on it, but it does work better.

All of that stuff is a waste of money.. 91% alcohol and salt like posted above.

The water DOES get dirty because it filters out PARTICULATE matter.

yup, it makes it easier on your throat and that is it. some of the tar will cling to the glass, but it isn't filtered out by the water.

I've had a Volcano for like 5 years, I love it but I'm a smoker type and plus the noisy ass bag gets annoying so I rarely use it unless I'm bored and want to feel a different high from the usual. I bought a triple bubbler so that I could stop smoking blunts but I eventually worked myself back into smoking blunts mainly and my favorite thing by far involving weed is to throw a roach into the bubbler. If I could jam a freshly rolled blunt into the bubbler I probably would lol.
