Ok about a week or two ago I posted and asked for some feedback on my new site www.expresswritersonline.com and received lots of good comments. I have redone the site in word press and gotten rid of the flash site we were using. We still need to update the text on the site but i am looking for feedback on the design again? Any input is greatly appricated!!

I think the vector or artwork of the pencil on college ruled paper gives me the impression of "school" vs. professional writing service, FWIW.

I agree, get rid of the pencil and paper. I think the page would look better with no artwork at all, just the text that's there now.

Looks good to me, I kinda like the graphic :thumbsup

You don't put full stops on a bulleted list.

but seriously, unless you are just spamming us, why do you care what some cunts you don't know think about your site design? the odds of you getting useful feedback is close to zero.

thanks all for the feedback so you think get rid of the pencil and paper and put a key board or something or just leave it out all together?

It looks really good, now before you promote it you should probably get it filled in with content because since it is a writing site people will be especially critical of blank pages.

I use either Thesis or Platform Pro frameworks for most of my sites.

Bring your graphic images into one of those themes would be simple and also give you a bit more flexibility with your pages and layouts.

Looks good! Clean, concise, and to the point.

Only thing I can recommend is exchange the greys for blues. Grey makes people have to WANT to read it, whereas blue is more of a calming / relaxing color.
