How much would it take for StuartD to update FFvB to work in FF4?

I'm curious to know a # and who would contribute to such an endeavor. I've talked to him on icq, but I'll try to up the pressure a lil bit.

most outdated plugins are very simple to get working again

you should just be able to change the version to your current one

What's so cool and important in FFvB? You sound like it is "must have" addon though I'm still not getting it?... ignore feature? highlight feature?

FFvB has a lot of cool features and options. FFvB made reading vB boards tons better. Almost all the reviews for it are positive that I've seen. The ignore feature was easily my favorite part, but it made navigation and other functions a whole lot easier.

If you want to test this - just download the xpi file ... change it to .zip extract the files .. edit the install.rdf file
look for the following code

change maxVersion ... this would only fix it if its just a version issue and not a vb change itsself

AFAIK Stuart said it would require a rewrite from the ground up and its not a simple fix.

Sorry man, I just don't have the time for it anymore. I've received a LOT of emails and seen a lot of board posts all around the net about it but a few donations here and there just don't justify me devoting time that I already don't have to it.
