I am a fan of Google Adsense - it pays 1 cent per visitor. Even a group of lousy sites with 2000 visitors a day makes an extra $600 a month.

I am also a fan of multiple income sources -> $600 * 10.

herbal + adwords = easy cash.

These days I drink. That is about all you need to know.

1. Convert your old pay sites from membership pay sites with $24.95 fees to free with email sign up.
2. Set up a good DOUBLE OPT IN list with tracking with site url, and date/time stamps.
3. Build up a nice list of visitors and mailing lists.
4. Mail targeted offer to them based on the site they signed up with.
5. Make money.

This seems to be what a lot of old adult maestros are doing now. You need to make sure you are doing it legally however, and be can-spam compliant. There are many other pieces to the pie, but that's a broad overview.

You can still make money in adult, and $5-10k easily. However, you are going to have to actually work for it. No more 10 minute days like the "good ole days". However, if you are consistent and work, it can be done.

For a low budget and hungry webmaster I agree that this is currently the way to go.

Lots of hard work. Forget the 40 hour work week. Innovate (or just keep up!). If you fall behind, you perish. Don't sleep. ever.

Easy:

For lazy webmasters - create a massive web footprint and soak up small amounts of traffic on alot of domains and promote high converting programs.

For working webmasters - create something different with quality and people will come back to you and search you out.

Innovation is key to success post 2010.
