Hey Gideongallery! Come in here and explain it to us!
Gideongallery has much to say about how producers of content are not adapting to
the internet. He says that websites should be able to upload and broadcast other people's content without paying fees(fair use) and this should benefit the content producers and webmasters. He sees nothing wrong with a tube site showing full length movies that they ripped from members areas of pay sites and that the pay sites need to change the way they do things and benefit from this. So Gideongallery, please give everyone here the method by which to do this. Lets take a simple example and have you explain the way to adapt it into a success. If you are right then you should have no problem giving us the answer and we will follow your advice and STFU forever because you were right all along. Here is the example : - I own six pay sites with a total of 10,000 scenes - All my scenes have been uploaded to youporn, redtube, etc... - None of the tubes link back to any of my pay sites - My pay site network currently gets only 2% of the traffic volume as a single tube - I'm not getting any signs for memberships - I'm not going to make the tubes take down the content, I'm going to adapt Ok that's the scenario. Now please lay out a comprehensive plan of action that will allow someone in the above scenario to adapt and become profitable to recover all the investment at 300% (spend $1 get back $3) This is not a troll, I really want to know the solution that you have. You must have a solution or why would you make the claims that you do. Tell us how to adapt and we will do it. Thanks |
two words: branding bugs.

Many people here have no idea of what a "branding bug" is, including me. |

you would be better studying why and how people upload vids all day with their watermark and how they convert those type-ins and url searches.
people are spending time and capital on it for a reason. |
Gideon's a typical know it all who's never done anything in his entire life yet they're experts.
He'll respond in generalities, vague ideas he's read somewhere such as 'branding bugs' 'product placement' etc having no idea if it's viable and what kind of money it could bring in. Has no idea about the costs of producing content. He won't take you up on your challenge because he is clueless about the economics of anything other than the allowance his parents give him. he probably doesn't even understand that, most likely he's a spoiled kid who doesn't even have to bother with budgeting what he spends, his parents just pay for everything little Gideon wants. |

Second, putting a logo on a video is already done and obviously it's not doing enough to stop the complaining. Third, I asked for a "comprehensive plan of action"; you have not provided one in your post yet. Fourth, maaaaaaaaannnnnnn....plz STFU :1orglaugh |

STFU. :1orglaugh |
The answer is rather simple... start getting traffic from different locations that aren't looking for free movies. It's not like the entire Internet visits tubes or you could contact the tubes and start working with them directly, so many options, endless really.

Maybe it's time to stop expecting a 300% return...

than a year with less than 300%; unless you were borrowing all the investment money from banks on a quarterly or annual basis. If you have $1 in your pocket and invest it and a year later get back $2; then you have $2 in your pocket. Now you invest $1 again for the next year and now you have $1 in your pocket; which is exactly where you started a year ago. WTF are you working for.....your investment????? :1orglaugh You ever hear those statistics where that say the average business fails in the first two years? The above scenario would be exactly why. You can't do "double the money" with your own money. That shit don't work, but people keep trying it and wondering why they seemed successful but ran out of money anyway. :1orglaugh |
Interesting to see no reply so far.

disputed. I hope so. I'm interested. |
I completely disagree with full length videos on tubes. That's why we removed all download options from our sites

What you are asking is like asking how to be successful at selling VCR players... :2 cents:
the selling of VCR players just like the paysite model is and forever will be in the decline stage, no getting out of it... :2 cents: |
