Iphone 4 or Blackberry Torch?
Going to be upgrading my mobile phone soon and don't know which way to go.
I send about 10-20 emails out per day with about 50% attachments. I also plan on running a live chat option for work from my phone which currently only supports ( Iphone ) at the moment. I need also remote desktop option on my phone is this possible? Any suggestions would be helpful cheers! |
Between those two choices - iPhone4 hands down

first off droidx is HD, second off flash actually works in browsers, it does not freeze all the damn time, it does not drop calls all the time, the responce time is better, and the app market is not all anal like apple is. |
Im an Apple lover. Period.

If you're not locked in a contract, jump ship, you can keep your number and shop the providers. You'll find a phone that fits. Again I'd suggest the iPhone4, Nexus S or HTC Desire HD(which is the EVO for the int'l market), all available on Telus. Don't get me wrong, I love Blackberry. I'm still rocking my Storm but they're just not doing whats necessary to stay competitive with the smartphone market as a whole. The ONLY thing keeping them alive is the enterprise email. I've been waiting for the Nexus S to launch, which it has now, to begin to make my choice on what phone to move up too. |
My Iphone & my Galaxy S got top shelf placement in the garage when I replaced it with the Blackberry Torch.
My torch freeze up a hell of a lot less than my Iphone died from having a dead battery. Everything for me works far superior on the torch over the Iphone except for the browser & games. |

Thanks for the info! I saw the HTC Desire HD its an awesome phone! I;m currently with fido no contract so i can basically move to any provider I see fit. Do you know if there is an app for either the iPhone or HTC Desire HD to all remote desktop connection? thanks! |
I have the torch... I like it alot better than the iPhone I had before.
iPhone has lots of bells & whistles but was unreliable as an actual phone. Missed calls, dropped calls, freezing on an incoming call etc etc... just get an iPod Touch if you want access to the Apple iOS. Blackberry is a rock solid when it comes to making & receiving calls which is why I chose it. But the Blackberry OS is not keeping up technologically... for example, when you download the few blackberry apps that are available you have to wait until it has finished downloading and installed before you can do anything else on the phone. That's ridiculous. Also the GPS sometimes takes forever to find your location when you launch the Maps app. This will be probably be my last blackberry until they up their game. If I had to get a phone right now I would go with the HTC Desire HD. Android is kicking ass. I love my Samsung Galaxy Tab. Android all the way. :thumbsup |
