Amazing prediction about future of movies from 1987
"We will have high-definition, wide-screen television sets and a push-button dialing system to order the movie you want at the time you want it. You?ll not go to a video store but instead order a movie on demand and then pay for it. Videocassette tapes as we know them now will be obsolete both for showing prerecorded movies and for recording movies"

"It is our proposal to take advantage of the POSITIVE ASPECTS of a NEGATIVE TREND afflicting the record industry today: HOME TAPING via cassette of material released on vinyl." Frank seemed to do ok despite HOME TAPING! |
What? He didn't predict Avatar and 3D? I'm not impressed.
But seriously, I like reading these kind of predictions from 10 or 20 years ago that turned out spot on. Makes me more ready to believe those who say we'll all be watching holographic sex in our living rooms within 5 or 10 years. |
Now,
If we could just find a similar article relating to the porn business and what the next step is before the big guys get a hold on it we will be rich!!!!!!! |

Did anyone predict how many Scream movies they would make ??
I figured 3 was more than enough. Seems i was wrong though... |
He was wrong about paying for it.
